Adam Guy (Advisor)

Adam Guy provides expertise in corporate and foundation partnerships, program packaging, marketing, and storytelling to Focal Point Philanthropy Advisors. He has spent over 15 years working with nonprofits to elevate brands, create resources, and deliver impact.

 

Most recently, Adam spent six years with Enterprise Community Partners, where he focused on creating visibility for donors and guiding partner communications. Whether writing blogs, creating events, or building campaigns, he developed and executed opportunities that successfully highlighted the impact made possible by generous supporters.

Prior to that, Adam led the marketing and communication efforts with SeriousFun Children’s Network, founded by philanthropist and Hollywood icon Paul Newman. While there, he launched a marketing and fundraising partnership with Ben & Jerry’s, gained brand placement on Newman’s Own lemonade cartons, and secured the organization’s first national television feature.

Adam also spent eight years with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where he executed cause-related marketing and fundraising relationships with corporate and sports partners such as Microsoft, Charles Schwab Foundation, Major League Baseball, NBA, and Michael Phelps Foundation.

 

Adam attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies. He lives in New York and is also a licensed tour guide.

Adam and Scott bring worked closely together for more than six years at Enterprise Community Partners, where they developed and executed strategies to secure revenue and grow partnerships with donor audiences.
