REACH YOUR AUDIENCES, AND YOUR GOALS.

Most nonprofit marketing boils down to this: "If others knew what we know, they would support our mission." The problem? It likely took years of experience to obtain that information, and there are likely mere minutes – or even seconds – to relay it.

PREPARE TO TELL YOUR STORY:
Before we can create meaningful content in line with your goals, we need to know your nonprofit inside and out. That’s why we begin every project with a deep dive into your nonprofit – reviewing your foundational materials, conversing with stakeholders, conducting research, and asking plenty of questions along the way.

OPTIMIZE INFORMATION WITH AI:
During this stage, we use AI to help us create handy reference guides, pinpoint recurring themes, and more. This approach supplements your invaluable subject knowledge by streamlining workflow, managing resources, and prototyping content and the basic premise to support quick, confident decision making. It also allows you to minimize otherwise common AI-related risks like inaccuracies, outdated information, and algorithmic bias.

Here are just a few ways AI transforms information into insight:

  • Drives alignment with quick high-level overviews that can be easily adapted to fully capture critical message points.

  • Indexes information to find answers quickly

  • Extracts recurring themes to guide key messages

  • Creates FAQs to provide practical context

  • Maps relationships to connect themes and insights

  • Generates outlines to structure key messages

ENVISION THE BIG PICTURE:
There are endless content types we could create to share your message with your various audiences, like web content, social media, educational materials, and so on. This depends on where your audiences are open to connection, where your audiences are within the marketing funnel, how much information your audiences already have, how much they already relate to your values, etc. Depending on the specifics, we may find that quick-hitting copy on digital ads or social posts will be most effective; or that your audiences will need educational content to help them understand before taking action. To decide, you should consider which goals you want to accomplish, like telling your mission story, educating audiences on the problem you solve, activating your communities, engaging donors, reaching prospective donors, growing your nonprofit’s brand, or fundraising.

Arguably the most time-consuming step of content creation is getting all decision makers on the same page. AI can streamline this process each step of the way, making it easier than ever to align, confirm, and when necessary, pivot. To enable alignment, we develop creative concepts and use AI to help decision makers visualize creative concepts without losing precious project time. How? Utilizing AI to create initial copy for example only, giving the team a rough but  but tangible, idea of the approach we would then take on a human level. Once approved, we take a break from AI and begin creating assets that uphold our high standard of work.

MOVE FAST WITH FREQUENT CHECKPOINTS:
Once decision makers are aligned on a creative concept, we begin writing core copy to be used as building blocks for assets spanning medium, placement, length, audience, and more. Then, we use AI to address the aforementioned nuances via clearly defined prompts and the human-written core copy as a starting point.  As assets are created and decision makers weigh in, AI is used to identify decisions, dictate feedback, pinpoint gaps or contradictions, and outline next steps. This allows us to support vigorous and ongoing tasks, without sacrificing quality.

CHOOSE QUALITY, SPEED, AND AFFORDABILITY:
Keeping humanity at the heart of content is essential to connect with audiences, establish trust, and drive action. But if you have limited time, staff, resources, or bandwidth, strategic and careful use of AI can be the difference between someone contributing to your nonprofit, and someone simply not knowing enough.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK:
Throughout the process, we also implement AI tools to reiterate learnings, pinpoint trends, and ensure we are on the same page from the very beginning, minimizing costly and time-consuming rework. Even after the project is complete, we help you keep up the momentum by offering knowledge sharing throughout the engagement to help your existing writing staff implement AI tools, streamline workflow, and communicate with consistency.
